On one of these maps we used that was about 200 years old I found an old farm that had the name Brumlo. Today at this place is a street called Brummelweg. It is situated in eastern Westphalia, Germany, near the small town of Verl. Many people having the name Brummel or varieties of it like Claasbrummel or Thiesbrummel living in this area.
