Meaning of this name is unknown.
Gary Envik says: My understanding is our orignal last name was Andersen. Once Gerhardt relocated his family to North America, he was advised to change his last name as it was to common and receiving his mail could be a problem. For his new last name he took the name of his farm in Norway. The ENVIKEN farm. How it was shorten to Envik, I am unsure. I Have recently learned that EN translates to JUNIPER TREE and VIKEN translates to BAY OF WATER. Therefore our last name of ENVIK translates to JUNIPER TREE
