Kahoun says: My grandpa told me that during WW2 we were ordered to search among our ancestors (nacists wanted to know whether we had Jewish ancestors or not). When searching my grandpa learned that we originated from France, the origin name was "Cahoun". It is all I know, the grandpa is dead for long time... I do not remember whether we have Jewish ancestors or not and I do not care. Wish all Kahouns (and Cahouns - if they existed now...) long and happy life... BTW, I think I can see clear resemblance between photos of Kahouns here and me and my son...
