Meaning of this name is unknown.

Paul Knappe Poindecker says: “Pointeck” was called the sidebuilding to the farmhouse “Hofgut” in Wildenau/Aspach im Innkreis /Upper Austria. The Hofgut burned down totally in the evening of 11. August 1885. A sidebuilding usually was used free of charge by a senior farmers family after he has retired and the farm was transferred to å new owner. As I heard from my ancestor a small farm was called “Point” “Eck” or “Ecke” is the german word for Corner. Pointeck was the little farmhouse at the corner I also found this form of writing: «Peunt Ekk».
